It is cheap to fly to from Europe. It is relatively cheap to stay in. It has just open last week and has electronic guinness taps at your table so you can fill your own pints! If you're into your coffee, give the local alternatives a try: Cafe Sol, Insomnia, or some of the more "artisan" offerings. Aside from that : the local tech community (which is rather vibrant) would LOVE to have the D conference come to Dublin. From a European perspective, other Europeans also love to come here - so it's a great location.
