AMEN Kara!
Let the bidding begin!

Jerry seems nice enough.. but, remind me about his experience as a CEO of a company this size. They just CAN NOT seem to execute. The stock is near a 2 yr low.. and there is no evidence things will change anytime soon. Nothing too exciting in the first 100 days.. or now his next 100 days.. Drastic steps need to be taken. Sell the company.. sell part, give up search to google, partner with ebay, cut divisions and more singificant lay-offs.

They have attractive properties-Flickr, Answers... they are top (or near top) in News and Sports.. of course search is still profitable being #2 (albeit distant #2 and fading).. Then there are overseas investments in Alibaba, Yahoo Japan, etc.

They have had enough time and before more of there market share and viewership erodes put the damn thing up for sale and fulfill their fiduciary responsibilities to the shareholders.

My bet is that Yahoo gets purchased by an ISP in 2008 (Comcast?) and plays ball against Google and MSFT ad side in a different arena over the next 5 years. The coming ISP/IPTV advertising boom.
