meg&#039;s had a free ride from shareholders for far too long. accountability at all 3 companies is sorely absent aside from Semel&#039;s ouster about 2 years late.

seriously I&#039;m surprised there&#039;s not more board &amp; shareholder inquiry about the leadership (or lack thereof), or failing that a more aggressive stance on dividends to return cash to investrs thats not being used effectively.  if anything I&#039;d want to see more aggressive M&amp;A since the innovation clearly isn&#039;t happening internally. at least Skype &amp; other deals were a respectable attempt to move the needle I guess.</description>

		<description>Really, Microsoft only goes after companies that it feels is a threat to one of it&#039;s business/products/etc.  So, ebay or Yahoo must be a threat somehow to one of Microsoft&#039;s products/businesses/etc. The question is which one? YPlayer, Ypod, Yphone, Ephone, Epod, Ebox, YBox?  That&#039;s just how Microsoft is, business, nothing personal.  Gotta respect that. :-)</description>
