Finally, Some Good News: A New Baby for Jerry Yang!

While BoomTown can be a bit, shall we say, sharp-tongued about Yahoo (YHOO), the company Jerry Yang co-founded, when it comes to anyone’s baby we go all sentimental.
Thus, everyone at AllThingsD.com extends its warm congratulations to Yang and his wife, Akiko Yamazaki (both pictured here), on the birth of their second daughter, which we found out about from–where else?–sources close to the company.
And, despite the current turmoil at his corporate baby, in the wake of Microsoft’s (MSFT) unsolicited takeover bid, I am guessing Yang must be over the moon with the new arrival.
(Memo to Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer: Give Yang a break and back off, at least for today, or you’ll have wearing-our-mama-hat BoomTown to answer to. A lovely floral arrangement or muffin basket would be a nice touch too.)
