		<description>Google would make a much better match for Yahoo.   No great trouble merging data centers as they are just Unix variants.   Google doesn&#039;t have a mandate from on high to run this OS or that.  Orkut for a long time was Windows based and may still be.

That&#039;s not to say that Yahoo would be a good target for Google.  It was suggested that the only value of Yahoo to MS was its user base.  That might be true for Google too, but I&#039;ve always questioned the accuracy of those user counts for both Yahoo and MSN as they both lock you into an all or nothing mode.  Sign up for any Yahoo or MSN service and you are instantly added to those count claiming 290+ million e-mail addresses.  As with old print media, the companies pretend that all users are busy clicking through to their ads.  Google is getting the business because they have more believable metrics.</description>
