Dave:

It was Valleywag where that appeared, the same blogger whose work I questioned. So consider the source.

I know Sheryl as well as I know a lot of people in the Valley, given I have covered the tech sector for 15 years or more.

I have been to her house, mostly for women in Silicon Valley events she does, where prominent women speak.

Sheryl does not come off well in my post either, but I tried, at least, to actually do a fair and reported job, as opposed to some of the fictions spun elsewhere.

Hey Kara,

I read on another blog that you're Sheryl's friend and that you have frequent dinners/lunches with her. Is that true?

so what's your secret kara? blogger-equivalent of Harry Potter cloak of invisibility? moonlighting as a barista at Coupa Cafe? or just tapping into the rainbow watercooler? EMWTK.

Sad in many ways. It is a poor testament to the management skills of the Facebook team and one that will hamper the execution of strategy at the company.
