Google is one of the only places I can upload data, save e-mail and so on and be fairly confident of getting all that data back again any time I want. Photos saved to Facebook get mangled, those saved to Flickr get stashed away where you can't get to them after you pass 200, Microsoft and Yahoo mail messages remain trapped on their servers unless you pay a fee. And I defy the DOJ to justify what is almost certainly and exclusive use of Windows on their part. I've worked in government and they throw money at Microsoft like it grows on trees, which from their point of view is practically true.
