It was delightful to see Bill and Steve sharing a stage and reminiscing about their stuff, but I was surprised that Bill (gadgets) and Steve (widgets) didn’t settle the debate about the original inventor of the widget. One can never have too many widgets. If Jerry had any honor he would do the right thing and resign. As I’ve said often, he’s like the gambler in Vegas that keeps losing and hocking jewelry becuase he thinks the next hand will be the one that wins it all back. He’s pathetic to watch at this point. He stubbornly and arrogantly brushed off MSFT and the FIFTY BILLION DOLLARS they were offering. He adopted a severance package that made it impossible for MSFT to acquire the company and then he doubled down on a foolish Google deal that no one ( save for Yang) thought would ever clear D O J approval. Now that everything he touched has failed, he’s out there saying it’s a good idea for MSFT to buy YHOO “at the right price”. This is the same guy that proudly claimed in your interview that he “accomplished most, if not all, of what they set out to do” If he really loves the company then he’d do the honorable thing and resign.

You mean critics like YOU… You’ve been smacking him longer and harder, since he turned down Draculasoft, than anyone. How much longer is the entire world of IT news on the internet going to be poisoned by Ballmers propaganda.
