I agree completely with what Eric Welch has said. The ex-CEO of eBay is NOT what California needs or anybody else for that matter.

Any monkey could of flipped the switched "on" at eBay. The site ran itself. I have to laugh when Meg says she "created" jobs on eBay. Nothing could be further from the truth.

It was People like you and me, who simply signed up and sold their unwanted goods. That's all there was to it. How did she create any of those "jobs"? Like I said...eBay literally ran itself.

eBay is a totalitarian run site as it is now. Do you want that BS running the state of California? Or any state for that matter?

I say OPEN YOUR EYES to the American people and the people of the great state of California. We want real "change" and hiring Meg to fill any seat would simply be "business as usual."

And don't let anyone fool you by saying "over 1 million people make their living on eBay." You have to take into account how many people are actually trying to sell on eBay. The percentage of people successfully selling would be less than 1%. Those are NOT good numbers!

And besides.... What makes Meg think she can just "snap" her financial fingers and jump into the Governor's chair? Don't you think you need to work your way up the ladder? You would think she would at least try to prove herself a bit first, like maybe becoming a council woman before she attempts to dictate to the whole state of California.

How could she possible believe she is qualified to be at the helm of one of the largest states in America???

I believe it would be a conflict of interest considering her old pals are still residing at eBay which is located in California.

Something to think about before throwing your vote away in 2010.

You can't teach an old dog new tricks, but you can vote for real change in 2010.

I say NO to the same old BS and NO to Meg Whitman in 2010!

JUST SAY NO!

California has been run like a business for a while now, and look where it's going. More than 100 days without a budget, and clueless republicans who still think the resolution to this 42 billion shortfall is to cut taxes.

Fundamentalism is killing us.

No thanks. I don't want the ex-CEO of the eBay running my home state. I dropped eBay a few years back when they decided the little guy doesn't count any more, that sellers can't defend themselves against unfair comments, and that users had to use their payment system - Paypal - with higher and higher fees for less and less service.

We need someone with some fresh, new ideas. Not some advocate of a "re-invented" Reganomics.
