It's interesting to hear someone in authority talk about synergy, but that ultimately won't come out of the marketing department. You need some of those "really smart guys" like they have at Google to make that happen. Efforts lately sound like too many chiefs, not enough Indians. I think this is how Yahoo got into trouble.
